Access Agriculture has set up a young entrepreneur model - Entrepreneur for Rural Access (ERA) - for last mile delivery of e-extension services. It supports young dynamic people who want to create a business involving disseminating agricultural videos to help farming communities, especially youth and women, and rural businesses.
Access Agriculture’s video-mediated ERA-led extension model has been successfully implemented in India. The ERA teams have been effectively screening farmer training videos using the smart projectors to promote sustainable practices.
ERAs are actively helping farmers to have access to the best agroecology practices so that both producers and consumers can benefit. They are emerging as dynamic changemakers, demonstrating their commitment to promoting agroecology and sustainable agricultural practices.
