A Fairtrade Premium Documentary Film of Kerala Agro Foundation for Fair trade Enhancement (KAFFE)
Nestled among the mountain ranges of the Western Ghats, lies Wayanad, one of the loveliest hill stations of Kerala. It was in the lap of this green district that the Kerala Agro Foundation for Fair trade Enhancement (KAFFE) was established in the year 2015 with the main objective of creating an environment of producers and buyers working together in a transparent and traceable supply chain based on fair terms and condition. When KAFFE received Fairtrade certification on February 8, 2017, the lives of the marginalized farmers got better. Since then they started receiving Fairtrade premium amounts and were able to launch several social, economic and environmental welfare projects for themselves.
