Stocking of fingerlings it's a process of raising fingerlings in a nursery pond then transferring then to the main pond.

First you have to dry out the pond in order to eliminate predators. Also the pond should be treated by lime after which the pond Is refilled with clean water.

Get the fingerlings from the hatchery.Slowly immerse the bucket containing fingerlings in the water gently and allow them to swim into the water by themselves with the osmotic potential of water.

The bucket should not be tilted to avoid causing stress to them and also confusion.

After they have swam into the water you remove the bucket and observe there movement.

Fingerlings are fed on the second day after stocking.
