Char women have experienced positive changes in their lives both in the households and in the community level by increasing engagement in agriculture and livestock. Making Markets Work for the Chars (M4C) project has facilitated this change by integrating women in agriculture (crops, livestock) and financial services interventions (e.g. farmers’ campaigns, meetings, etc.). This is the story of Women Economic Empowerment in Chars.
