This video highlights how research in the uplands of Lao PDR is helping farmers in the country use improved rice technologies suited to their conditions for reducing hunger and protecting the environment. The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD; http://www.ifad.org) provided the funds to the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI; http://irri.org) for this work.
