Layering of chicken which are layers is done in deep litter system. It involves various practices such as feeding chick mash from day 1 to about 4 weeks then growers mash is gradually introduced from 3rd week up to 5% of the flock start laying. layers mash is introduced. various vaccination is given throughout the rearing process. such vaccines includes newcastle, gumboro, fowl pox. vaccine such as newcastle is given orally through drinking water. In case of soft shelled eggs or egg eating supliment th flock with calcium minerals. in deep litter system wood shavings and is changed after there is much droppings or after a specified period.
